View Full Version : I LOVE AMETHYST

Paul
December 5th 03, 05:49 AM
Now that I have got your attention. I thought that I=20
should inform you all that the user "Amethyst", is very=20
helpful, but too often rude and obsene. I, for one, will=20
no longer tolerate her rude posts. I have send the=20
following message to her ISP, in hopes of getting her to=20
stop this rude language. For those of you who admire=20
Amethyst, I expect many "witty" replies about this=20
action. For those of you who have had an unfortunate run=20
in with Amethyst, don't take her posts personally, but=20
know that someone is fed up with the way she treats other=20
users. I did edit the post, so that her AKAs remain=20
private, as Microsoft's Terms and Conditions say that no=20
personal info be given out.

Dear Energis,=20

I thought I should inform you of one of your end-user's=20
frequent inappropriate language, and in almost all cases,=20
demening of other users in a Mircrosft Newsgroup.=20

All of the following Messages are a clear violation of=20
Microsoft's terms of use, because users are not=20
to "Publish, post, upload, distribute or disseminate any=20
inappropriate, profane, defamatory, obscene, indecent or=20
unlawful topic, name, material or information."

MANY users of these newsgroups complain about Amethyst,=20
and she simply replies by calling them ****wits, morons,=20
dip****, and so on

The specific violations are marked as bold (oops, can't=20
do that in IE. Oh well, you'll see them)=20

Altough some are not severe violations, some are=20
completely innaproprate and rude.

Congratulations - you've just won this month's Moron of=20

posting your number to an internationally read newsgroup!=20
Your prize? Calls
from long-distance phone service companies at 3am! This=20

not as I live the

The answer to your question is - no.

While I'm sure there were more, (and more inappropriate=20
ones), I can't take up all of your time. Many users=20
frequently tell Amethyst to drop her rude language, in=20
turn they pretty much get told to shove it. Although I=20
don't expect her account to be terminated. I DO expect a=20
strong warning letter to be sent to her, advising her=20
that this language is unacceptable, and will not be=20
tolerated. These newsgroups are for every ones use, and=20
not for Amethyst to foul it up. As well, I have recently=20
noticed some of her inappropriate posts being removed=20
from the server, as this is a sure sign that Microsoft=20
does not appreciate her language and/or attitude as well.

Thank you for your time.

Paul

I hope to soon see an end to Amethyst's rude language. =20

The part the you called a large quote, is actually a letter Paul is sending
to her ISP.

like a quote. Maybe we're not talking about the same thing in the OP.
