Few hours ago I owned a smoothly running system including MSN Messenger 7.5
and lotsa emoticons, animotions etc. plus a msn space. Then tried out
Messenger Live Beta. Didn't know it would deinstall my 7.5 version. Kicked
Beta out again, downloaded MSN 7.5 and installed - all my pluses are gone.
Can't enter my space either. Does anyone know what to do? Big thanks in
advance!!!

Greetings,

I'm not sure what you mean by "pluses"? Regardless, if you want the "quick solution" simple
use System Restore. To do so, click Start, then Help & Support, then "Undo changes to my
computer using System Restore" and restore to yesterday.

Most often System restore don't work. There are a million reasons but
Microsoft have not quite got to grips with it. Lets get on with the new
stuff, and that won't work either.

Hi Joe,

I've used System Restore a number of times to deal with PCs. As well, Messenger clients use
the Windows Installer properly, and as such, automatically create restore points.

We can debate this till we're blue in the face, but the fact is it's been used by millions
successfully.

I thought system restore once set did what Microsoft intended. Why do
so many peeps have so many problems?
