When starting up or rebooting, I always get error message
that says "Windows cannot find beta.exe.Make sure you
typed name correctly, etc." I think "beta.exe" was
deleted in an anti vrus program; however it's deletion
does not appear to cause any Windows problems.
How therefore do I get rid of error message?
Similarly, when trying to use a Windows help file, Iget a
pop-up that says : "ORUN32.INI file is missing from
Windows Directory. Please reinstall software."
How do I Do That without reinstalling Restore CD?

The anti virus program probably left a reference to this file somewhere on
the system. Go to Start/Run, type: msconfig and press OK. Click the
Start Up tab and look for a reference for the file there. Remove the check
mark and note the location of the reference to the file. Removing the check
mark will get rid of the error, but you still need to delete the reference
which will likely be in one of the Registry Run keys.
The Orun32.ini file is part of the Microsoft Interactive Training which is
included on many systems from vendors such as Dell. There should be an
installation disk for this software. If it is included on the XP recovery
disk, you can do without it.
