View Full Version : Dubble updates?

I have, by mistake, made a number of updates twice. The
first time was via Windows Update. The second time was
via Automatic Update, which did not see that the updates
already were done. Question: Could there be something
dubbled in a case like this, or should the result be as
if only one installation had been done?

Thanks,
Inge

Hi,

No, it would just install over itself, even if it did happen. I suspect that
you are mistaking something, as the autoupdate would not download and
install a file that the system identifies as already being installed.

My quess would be no, unless you installed into different directories which
should be unlikely. Then I have been wrong before.
