We bought our "clone" computer in May, 2002. We purchased
and installed Windows xp...home version.

Several days ago, a box with a big red "x" appeared with
the following message.....system shutdown....shutdown
initiated by NT Authority System. Remote procedure call
service terminated unexpectedly. It has a countdown on it
and goes from 1 minute to 0, at which time our computer
shuts down, and restarts. It happened 4 times the first
night, the next day not at all, the next night twice, and
today so far, twice. We just have several windows open on
different websites, and yahoo msgr.

Please help us understand what this means, and how we can
fix it. It's very frustrating, as a minute is not enough
time to save everything, and we want to return to our
uninterupted use of the internet.

Thank you!

Joan M.
