When are you going to answer my question? How do I go
about loading a copy of 98 in place of the horrendous
XP????????????????????????????

personally, I loved Kents reply.
The news groups are "free advice" from quite a few knowledeable people. If
you want instant answers, get yourself a consultant, or buy a few books on
the topic, and become
at least a little familiar with the product you are going to use..
1. its not microsofts responsibility to keep a persons computer clean of
viruses.
(leave your keys in the ignition, have it stolen, blame GM or Ford,
(sorry Kent)),
Rolls, etc.
2. Learn basics of the OpSys, and how to download patches...
