As with all others, encountered the same problem only
today. Turning back on the firewall seems to have fixed
(thanks Wendy). I turned my firewall off ages ago because
it interfers with Netmeet video conference, but I thought
XP defaulted on installation that the firewall
is "on"......so I guess all people with probs have for
some reason turned it off. I have also just downloaded
latest anti virus update from my provider (e-
safe.com....great virus protection and service) which has
another win.blaster fix update, so will see what happens
when I run that soon. Anyway, thanks to all, the problem
was starting to annoy me greatly.
