Windows update error

Hi, I am getting an error when trying to run the windows
update program. When it should be scanning the system to
see what updates are available, it gets an active x
error. I made sure all active x controls were enabled in
the internet options properties, still getting it, any
ideas?

Hi CHris
In IE/Options/ Security tab/Custom Level make sure that you have enabled
File download, Run Active x control and plug ins and Active Sampling
