Xp takes about 20 minutes to startup, why?

Hi,
I just upgraded from Me to Xp but xp takes about 20 minutes
to load, I reset the bios to default settings, still wont
work, i have all the drivers (XP does work fine when its
running, no freezing or anything) if anyone has any ideas
let me know.

still have some Me drivers
