After upgrading my WinXP Professional machine from 1GB to 2GB of RAM
hibernate no longer works. I found this link describing exactly what my
problem is:

http://support.microsoft.com/?kbid=909095

It mentiones a hotfix but provides no link.

I spent about three hours already trying to contact MS and an e-mail I sent
last week to MS requesting the hotfix still remains without answer.

This is a major problem for me. If somebody has this hotfix or knows how to
get it easily I'd love to hear about it!

Thanks in advance.

As the KB article states, you need to contact (call) MS:

"To resolve this problem immediately, contact Microsoft Product Support
Services to obtain the hotfix. For a complete list of Microsoft Product
Support Services telephone numbers and information about support costs,
visit the following Microsoft Web site:"

MS won't charge you for a hotfix.
