wmp video crashes

[Big Bearded Buddy]

Forgive me if this has been posted before. After dloading a video from
Limewire, then viewing it on wmp, the video will crash with about 5 minutes
left in the movie, but the audio plays on, but if I change to VLC media
player, everything is fine. What gives? Thanks in advance for any help
anybody can provide.

I think the fact that you downloaded it from the P2P file sharing would
explain most of the problems.

Re-encode it in Windows Media Encoder and it should work better.
