View Full Version : restarted during a windows update, now won't boot

Windows wont boot, tried to fix mbr, boot in last known good configuration,
it says a system file is corrupt. How can I copy a sytem file from one
computer to another? It told me I cant copy a system file because it was in
use.

how do i copy c:\windows\system32\config\system ??? corrupt on one computer
can i copy it from another to a floppy and copy it to the computer from there?
