I have an Acer Aspire 1600 laptop with Ati radeon 9000 on board.
My monitor's native resolution is 1024x768.
When I increase the resolution, the screen spans to a virtual monitor to
which I scroll using the mouse.
This makes it very uncomfortable to use.

I would like to ask, Is there a way to increase the resolution, but the
display compensates to my monitor's size (just like in CRT monitors)????
