I don't undertamd the context.
You mention slide/photo which doesn't seem like it is related to video, but
makes me think you may me talking about displaying an image on a website.

If so, the newsgroup I would suggest is microsoft.public.frontpage.client
where general HTML questions are often answered.

If this is your query, I place my images in cells of a table like this

If it's related to photostory, then the correct newsgroup is digitalimaging,
if it's for a still in movie maker, there is the moviemaker newsgroup, but
here are instructions for titles in movie maker
