Is there a way to delete icons in the Notification Area. I have two icons
for MSN Messenger (as I uninstalled, then re-installed). I have tried to
customise but it only allows to hide when inactive etc. I would like to
remove it altogether.

Thanks.

Another tool that will do it is C(rap)cleaner, it'll clean out your tray, as
well as provide assistance in keeping your system tidy, it's free too.

don't be put off by the name, I have no interest in it, just happen to have
it.
