Hello ,

Yesterday as i was reinstalling windows during the copying files process i
got a message that the file driver.cab can't be copied so i skipped it. The
installation went fine but my second hard disk is not recognised by My
Computer. I checked BIOS and there it has status Enabled. Could it be because
of this file driver.cab? I searched for it but the system doesn't find it on
my computer. COuld anyone tell me where the file is located so i can extract
it from the Windows CD?

Hi George,

Driver.cab is in the I386 folder on your WinXP CD. Insert the disk, hold the
<shift> key down for around 10 seconds to cancel the autorun sequence. Click
start/run, type "sfc /scannow" and click ok. This should verify the system
file set and grab any needed ones from the CD.
