save to computer problem

When I try to save to my computer an error message comes up that says it
"Cannot Complete the Save Movie Wizard" for a list of reasons including
saving locations and free disk space. I have plenty of space on my computer
to save and I am trying to save to my desktop. Any ideas what I am doing
wrong?
