View Full Version : Systems Runs Slow After Boot on XP

After booting on XP,

The system runs extremly slow. Upon looking in task
manager the CPU is 100% busy. A look at the processes
runing indicates a task "system" is using 99% of the CPU.

You would expect the boot to finish and the "system idle"
process to take over.

The unit has 512kb of memory.

Any thoughts?

Perhaps you ought upgrade the memory to 512MB.
