Had xp/pro running great might even be described as
smooth... and then...
Ran into serious mouse problems, thought only way to fix
was to re-install xp/pro... xp reloaded but left the
service history alone. Tried to apply latest service and
system tried to apply service pack 1... but, the history
showed that my cp system should be up to date and not
trying to install service pak 1. Got error messages as
well as piracy messages. My xp is legal, problem seems to
be that when I re-installed the system never deleted the
previous service and support updates install list. What
do I do now? how can I get my system back to the service
level I had it at? any help greatly appreciated.....
