View Full Version : Can't run CHKDSK at start-up on USB FAT32 drive

I'm using Diskeeper (Workstation 7.0.430) to defrag my
drives and I schedule these tasks with a CHKDSK at
reboot. On my USB hard drive only, at start-up,I get a
message that there are conflicts and CHKDSK then won't
run. It also says the drive is dirty. I'm running XP
Home.

1. Is there some way of seeing what the conflicting
process(es) is?
2. How do I "clean" the drive?

Please e-mail the response to me as well as posting.
Thank you.
