in-line auto complete does not work

Could someone please help me, my in line auto complete is
dead!
Also, Ican not get any "drop down" lists for places I go
all the time. I can not double click and get anything
I have ever typed before.
I have gone into internet options many times and it is
like the link is dead. I'am up to date on all "updates"
and "patches" I have been using this HP laptop for 6 mos.
I can't stand it any longer.
Should I uninstall Internet Explorer and then Re-install?

Please help if you can.

Are you using IE6? If not go to Windows Updates and download and install.
If yes, go here to remove and reinstall IE.
