After installing the MS03-26 patch, my DVD ROM cannot read
any disks that I put in. The CDs work on other computers.
I get the error message "Windows cannot read from disk.
The disk might be corrupted or it could be using a format
that is not compatible with Windows." I have checked the
device manager, and everything is fine. I have unistalled
the device driver and reinstalled to no avail. I have
googled this error message, and other people have gotten
it, but I can find no solution. Any ideas out there?
