have sound...no video

in windows movie maker i can import clips and movies of all types and view
and edit them. but as soon as i put the clip in the time line for a music
video im making and try to view my progress i can hear it but the visual for
the video is not showing. can someone please help...

This is the problem when you use file types that are not supported by movie
maker, use only dv-avi or wmv video files and you won't have this problem.
