I've very stupidly deleted an old friend from Messenger and can now find no
trace of his details anywhere on my PC!!

Is there any way I can retrieve this information?

Thanks

Assuming that s/he has added you at some point..

Goto Tools, Options
Then goto Privacy tab and hit the "View" button under the "See who has added
you to their contact list"
Your contact's name should be in there.

If you have a hotmail passport address, check your hotmail address book.

Hi Tsang

Not in my address book. This is not going to be that simple!! Do
Hotmail/Messenger keep records of chats or old contacts?
