Help My Cd rom And dvd rom

windows doesnt show my cd rw or dvd rom they flash and i can put a cd in them
but its like not working please help ohh windods dosent show they even exist

And of course you want to check:

1. What changed between the time things worked and the time they didn't?
2. Do the drives show up in the BIOS?
