Since upgrading my video card from an ATI X800 Pro to a NVIDIA GeForce
7800GTX, the color space is shifted vertically half way up the screen when I
play MPEG2 files in WMP10. The files play fine in other media players I
have installed, such as Nero Showtime. Once authored to DVD, WMP10 plays the
files without the color shift. I should probably mention that I do not have
problems in WMP10 with any other video formats.
I am using the latest NVIDIA drivers (84.21 as of this post). The MPEG2
codec I use came with Ulead DVD Workshop 2. I have not previously had
problems with it. I don't use WMP10 very often, so it is not really a big
deal. But I would still like to know what is going on.
