disk defragment

when I start disk defragmenter it says can not load. How
do I fix this. windows xp

Do a System File Check: Start>Run type: sfc /scannow Make
sure your WinXP CD is in the Cdrom drive.
If that doesnt work go to C:\Windows\System32 Scroll down to
Dfrg.msc and rt click on Icon. Select Send to
Desktop As Shortcut.
