Any good suggestions for a tool to partition a hard-drive? I'm getting a
laptop with a 80GB Hard-drive and with XP Pro preloaded from Dell and want
to be able to split the HD 40Gb for XP Pro/40Gb for XP Home

You can use a utility such as Partition Magic...
but if your machine has XP pro...I would not bother to install XP home

Hi Jeff,

Patition Magic is one of the better partitioning applications. One, in fact,
i use a lot.
I do, however, have to agree with Philo, if you machine is coming
pre-installed with XP Pro then there isn't much use putting XP Home on the
machine. XP Pro is by far the better of the two operating systems.
