When I try to log on to an email website like gmail; when I start entering my
usernames it shows a drop down list of all the users who mave used my machine
to log in. How do I delete this drop down list fro history. Also if I no
longer want windows to remember any passwords how do I delete the stored
information from memory.

Have you tried IE-Tools-Internet Options-Content-AutoComplete?

How to Use the AutoComplete Feature in Internet Explorer:

You can also highlight any entry and press the Delete key.
