View Full Version : Removing old Windows XP Restore points

I realize I can add/remove restore points thru the
add/remove program user interface. My question is
knowing if these restore points are shown in
chronological sequence (oldest first). Is it possible to
see the dates for these restore points? and is there a
better way to remove older points that are no longer
needed? thx!

Click on MyComputer>rt click on Drive Icon> select Properties>Disk
Cleanup>More Options>System Restore
Cleanup. Say Yes to All.

If you reduce the amount of disk space allocated to System Restore
then it will automatically remove the older restore points until the
disk space usage complies with your specifications.
