I installed IE7 Beta 2 and found out that it often crashes..
So I un-installed IE7.
And now IE6 blocks every link to a new windows (every thing is pop-up
blocked). even the option "Use Current" in Internet settings is grayed out...
I have no way to enable pop-up. or make it work....
I tried to reinstall IE6, but it won't let me... telling me that I have a
newer version installed.
I ran every cleaning program known to man ... and I have no virus, spyware
or any maleware known.
I really need help..
to post this question I had to use Firefox.... with IE6 I was unable even to
select the new post icon.
Thanks
Robert

Tried a system restore yet (to a point before you installed IE7 which
you knew was beta software and yet installed on a critical host)?

You are getting the newer version error because you have service pack 2
installed. You cannot download the version of IE included in SP2
seperately, and would need to reinstall SP2 in order to reinstall IE.
