backup to cd

How do I use the backup utility to write to a cd? The
help refers to removable media and my blank cd shows up
as a removable storage device under computer manager.

Create a New Folder in Windows. Name it SysBackup or something similar.
Direct all your Backups to the new folder
Then copy the folder to a CD.
