View Full Version : convert avi file to fit on cd

i am running xp pro,fully updated.I have a movie on my hd that 'properties'
say is an avi file. it is to large to fit on a cd(745 mb) and i do not have
a dvd writer in my machine. is there anyway to convert this movie to another
format so it will fit onto a cd.I would be very grateful for any help

Do a Google search on video compression and/or video converter - there
should be a pretty long list of programs.

Download WM encoder,in the encoder,select convert audio/video,locate the
file,run it thru the encoder...

thanks for the feedback.i know more now about video conversion.your help is
