I recently have had my machine freeze every few minutes
then automatically reboot. Msg says: the system is
shuttinbg down shutdown was auth. by NT authority/system
then... Remote Procedure Call (RPC) service terminated
unexpectedly. Can you help me or send me in the right
direction. This started about 4 days ago so don't know if
it is related to the newest worm. Thanks

Ya, Thanks for looking around alittle before posting ;)

If the computer is constantly rebooting, quickly go to:
Start > Run and type: shutdown -a , and hit enter.

This should halt the rebooting problem. (Thanks Nicholas)
