I downloaded and installed the patches and my TrendMicro
latest pattern and did everything suggested regarding the
msblast worm. I don't have msblast on my computer. But ever
since I did all this I'm having a problem when I boot up my
computer.
The computer gets to a screen that tells me to click on the
user to log on to windows. However, no users appear on the
log-in screen. There is also a spot to click to shut down
the computer. If I do that it keeps going back to the same
screen when I re-boot. If I ctrl-alt-del twice I get to a
"log in" box where I'm finally able to log-on to the computer.
Can anyone help me to be able to automatically boot to
windows again?
BTW, I followed instructions regarding shutting my system
restore before scanning my computer for the msblast file
and then turning it back on, so I can't get to an earlier
date to restore my computer to :(
