I have an HP Pavilion 8984, which came with Win XP Home
pre-installed. I have since installed SP1 and
many 'critical' up-dates.
My problem is that the 'Index' section in my 'Help and
Support' has disappeared. All I get in the left-hand
half of the 'Help and Support Centre' window for 'Index'
is a blank space, with a small square in the top left-
hand corner containing a red cross. I have tried
everything I can think of to bring it back, without
success. Can anyone help, please
