Can anypone help with this problem.when accessing the
internet i get an error message after about 2 minutes
saying that NT Authority system is shutting windows
down.RPC (remote control procedure call is shutting down)A
box appears counting down in seconds until it gets to zero
and then windows ****s down an reboots.I have looked at
the event viewer and it shows the following
event type. Error
event source. event system
event category. (50)
description. the com+event system detected a dad return
code during its internal processing.HR result was 800706ba
from line 44 of
d:\nt\com\com1x\src\events\tier\eventsystemobj.cpp .
This has only just started to happen but now happens all
the time.I cannot stop windows closing down when this
message appears.I have firewalled my internet connection
thinking this may help but with no joy.
