Writing to CD-RW's

So far, when I srite to a CD-RW it appears to format only
the portion of the disk necessary to copy the file. This
takes too long. I would like to preformat the entire
disk as I was able to do with earlier version of Easy CR
Creator Direct CD. Is this possible to do with the
embedded XP program?

No XP's built in software is not packet writing software. You will need to
use a third party application like Easy CD Creator 5 updated with the
current updates from
http://www.roxio.com/en/support/ecdc/software_updatesv5.jhtml and install
Direct CD or use a stand alone product like InCD 4 from www.nero.com
