hi,
is it possible that can we send messages to an particular IP address in
My Local Area NetWork or in the internet.by default we can send messages to
an passport-id or any of Hotmail id's through internet.
The messenger name is Windows messenger, so it should deliver the messages
to other windows system .if it is not connected with the internet then it
should deliver the message to an IP adress or to the host name where we
addressed.
i don't know about the windows messenger.can anybody say whether the
above facility is available or is it posible.

Greetings,

I'm afraid not, Windows Messenger requires you to login to a service and cannot send messages
directly to IP addresses.

Windows however has a "Messenger Service" (which is off by default starting with SP2) that
you can use to do this; learn more about that here:

Try Bopup Messenger for your lan needs. You can also send messages from
a command line interface and use the messenger in batch and startup
files. http://www.blabsoft.com/products/messenger/
