Have Windows XP home edition and want to take a full
system backup. Is that possible and how do you do that?
There is no backup option in the system tool folder.

If your XP-CDROM has the XP backup program, it is there under Added
Value or some such entry, and you can install it from the CD-ROM.

However, it's not a terribly useful program in my opinion. You might
want to consider something such as DriveImage 7 from PowerQuest or
Norton's Ghost 200x (not sure what latest version is.)

A Google search will find these and others for you. Each of these
programs has its strengths and weaknesses, and users thereof are likely
to tell you here that the one they use is "the" one to use.

Bob

By default, the backup utility is not installed on XP Home edition. See the
following articles on how to install and use MSBackup with XP Home.
