I've recently downloaded a video - it downloaded in avi format. When I go to
watch it in the Windows Media Player all i get is the sound-no video.
I also tried burning the movie to a DVD - it comes up with an error saying
that the Media Player does not recognize this file type and it will not burn.
I have tried burning it in a few different ways -but it doesn't want to burn.

Can anyone help

Carmen

An AVI file is usually compressed and you need to have installed the
appropriate codecs in order to watch it.

It's usually DIVX or XVID...

www.divx.com and www.xvidmovies.com/codec
