winlogin.exe issue at startup

HELP !

Had a virus/worm blaster issues - got virus updates
(Norton) ran and cleaned up my system.

Computer now scans clean. Only problem I've now got is
that when I startup it takes much longer and I get a
message to the effect "winlogin.exe could not be found.
Click start and search again"

I can then click ok and get into my computer and it works
fine. Does anyone have an idea what this message means
and more importantly is it serious and how do I get rid
of it....
