One of the Guys I work with tried to Run SP1 Patch on his
system today, He did that, ran fine, after patching went
back and ran 7 other Security Updates. Its on a Sony
Vaio. Now the system Boots, a Blue Screen that flies by
and error message stating a Hardware or Software Change
has caused the error. He tried Booting to last known good
configuration and got the same message, same with Safe
mode in all configurations. He doesn't want to run the
Restore CD as it Formats Everything and he has reports he
needs to get to. Any thought on how he can get back to a
previous point when the system won't even boot up to the
Desktop or Command Prompt? Thanks! He promises CD's for
whoever fixes this!
