Greetings,
When I click on Start > Search, nothing opens up. It
freezes the pc for a few seconds and nothing opens up.
I did get the RPC error but I could not find the
MBLAST.exe from the System32 folder nor did I find the
auto-update string in the Registry that was supposed to
be associated with the lates virus. That's when I
discovered that my Search function was hosed.
I already did an SFC Scannow, Defragged, and Chckdisk,
but to no avail.
Any tips on how I can get the Search window to function
again? Thanks in advanced.
