This is the same situation my moms computer has. We have a
home network setup. This problem i belive derives from the
computer having an always on power configuration to allow
for the networked computers to have constant access to the
internet. If you do have networked computers turn one on
log onto the internet and then shut down the main computer
and see what happens to your networked pc. this will
explain the always on configuration.
Hope i helped.
