I am stuck in the middle of reinstalling Windows XP in
repair mode (not via Console MOde). The message that I am
getting (and will not proceed) is:

The file 'asms' for Windows XP Home Edition Service Pack 1
CD is needed.
Type the path where the file is located and then click OK.

NOTE: I have attempted to download the Service PACK 1 and
write the update to CD (thru the automated processes).
The CD created from this download did not work. It still
reverts to the message above.

What file(s) are is this repair/install needind and where
can I find it?
Can I get these file(s) from another XP workstation that
has this Service PACK 1?

Please HELP !!!
..
