If I click on "Search" in the "Start" list and tell it to
search "files and folders", C: (hard drive)for any set of
characters the little dog freezes, there is an hour glass,
the instructions in the window on how to search remain in
the window and when you click on the X in the upper right
corner to close it, it always comes back with the error
statement that the Search program is not responding. Click
to close now or return to windows. If you close it you can
repeat the proceedure. Anyone had this problem? I
reinstalled Windows XP pro as an "upgrade" and the Search
worked for a while, but then returned to the above
condition.
