windows xp upgrade

How can i install windows xp home edition upgrade without
having a previous copy of windows, as my previous copy was
over written from the last time i had upgraded.

No, to do this you will need to purchase a Full Install of Windows XP. But,
if you own a copy of Windows the setup for XP will ask you to insert the
disc before installing making you now able to install XP.
