Help Comp hangs and locks up

i have a newer computer that is about 6 months old. about
2 months ago it started wigging out and it keeps on
hanging up and locking up. the computer locks up and then
a couple of seconds later the monitor refreshes itself
and it is back to normal or the monitor keeps on blacking
out until it is back to normal.

i have a nvidiea geforce 4200 video card and i think that
is the problem, i have the newest driver for it but it
still is locking up. one time a screen of death popped up
and said my vidoe card fell into a infinitive loop and
the computer shut down to stop it, but that only happened
once.

if anyone has anything that would help me, please let me
know

Ryan, go here to www.Guru3d.com and download and install a different
Nvidia driver. Especially if you are getting
Infinite Loops syndrome. I have a GF3 and had to try quite a few before my
Card settled down.
