error message when starting up.

We have a new computer and we keep getting the error
message "device driver failed" when we turn it on. Event
log says "Eplpdx02 service could not be started". Does
anyone know what this means?

Kris, check here. You may need an updated XP driver for your Epson
Printer. Go to their site.
